While we know that showdowns of these sort have been done to death many times earlier, we just can’t seem to stop. Anyway, if you were under a rock for the past couple of days, we might as well let you know that a few days ago, Google – alongwith its Korean devices partner LG annnounced the existence of the next generation Nexus class smartphone. Known as the Nexus 4, the device packs in quite a decent punch and is all set to replace the existing Nexus class flagship, the Galaxy Nexus.
Now, the obvious question is, how does the newest nexus phone compare to the current Kings of the rings – the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S III? Well, we have put up a small chart that will help you find out exactly that!

Anyway, while it is clear that the newest Nexus 4 does trump both the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III in terms of pure hardware specifications, there are some glaring omissions – including the lack of support for LTE networks and the camera which only sees a marginal improvement over the Galaxy Nexus. The memory options on the Nexus 4 are limited too with the maximum storage space being 16 GB.
While the Nexus 4 cannot be called an iPhone killer, there is no doubt that LG and Google have upped the specifications ante with this newst release. Given a choice, which amongst these would you choose from?
